To enhance and maintain the quality of education for certified nurse assistants in order to protect the quality of patient care.
The program hours are distributed in the following proportions:
34 Hours of lecture – Taught at onsite classroom
16.5 Hours of lab work – Taught at onsite simulated lab
24.5 Hours of clinicals – Taught at our affiliated long-term care facility
- Total of 75 program hours
After successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the
Michigan Certified Nurse Aide exam.
Two Week Session (Day)
- Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM
Three Week Session (Evening)
- Monday thru Friday, 5:00PM-10:00PM
Five Week Session (Weekend)
- Saturday and Sunday, 8:00AM-3:30PM
1st Step CNA Training program course fee includes your textbook.*
A $200 deposit is required to reserve a seat for the course.*
There is $10 (non-refundable) Background Check assessment fee.*
